Have you ever wished you could play the piano but thought you’d missed your chance? Perhaps you took lessons as a child and stopped, or maybe you’ve always wanted to learn but never found the time.
Here’s some good news: It’s never too late to begin!
After more than 20 years of teaching piano to children and adults, I’ve learned that every student brings something special to their lessons. Adults often bring patience, determination, and a genuine appreciation for music.
Children may take piano lessons because they want to, or because their parents encourage them to. Many genuinely enjoy their lessons, while others are still deciding whether playing the piano is something they want to pursue.
Adult students, on the other hand, have usually made that decision for themselves. Many feel that it’s finally their time to do something they’ve always wanted to do.
And did you know that playing a musical instrument engages multiple areas of your brain? Learning and practicing the piano involves memory, coordination, listening, concentration, and creativity—all working together. It’s a wonderful workout for your brain!
You don’t need previous experience, and you certainly don’t need to be a musical genius! Learning to play the piano is a journey, and everyone progresses at their own pace.
At Rhapsody Music Lessons, I tailor each lesson to the individual student, combining music reading, basic theory, technique, and, most importantly, the enjoyment of making music.
And because lessons are online, you can learn from the comfort of your own home.
So, if you’ve always wanted to play the piano, why not start now?
I’d love to help you discover the joy of making music!
